As a struggling Rookie of the Year candidate, A.J. Allmendinger managed to make a total of 17 starts in 2007. Just one start shy of .500, as they say. One positive is that A.J. Allmendinger, his team, and Toyota in general improved over the season.
A.J. will return to the #84 in 2008 to give it another shot alongside teammate Brian Vickers.
