Joe Nemecheck was also out of a job after Chicago, alongside teammate Sterling Marlin. However, Joe ended up landing in the #78 for 9 races in 2007 and also signed a contract with them through 2010.
However, what remains to be seen is that if Joe Nemecheck and his qualifying reputation will be enough to get them into the shows, where his driving skills will have to take over to earn enough points to put (and then keep) them in the Top-35.
While the Wood Brothers is the safe bet for a single car team that could break into the Top-35 in 2008, Furniture Row would have to be your #2 pick.
