[thumb:166:l:s=1:l=x]Happy is definitely how to describe Kevin Harvick right now. After winning the Busch race last night with a dominating performance, again Kevin found Victory Lane tonight in the Cup Race. This made for the third weekend in a row where both the Busch and Cup races have been won by the same driver.

With a suggestion from Todd Berrier in the closing laps to dial in a little more rear brake, Kevin’s car came alive. Actually, his car was already a 10 on the scale, so it might be more appropriate to say he turned it up to “11″. That he did. He wasn’t far behind then leader Kyle Busch by much to begin with. However, coming towards the white flag, Kevin was there and made the winning pass.

So how did the Chase roll out?

Well, the “critics” can stop their whining about the driver with the most wins not making the cut.

On the flip side, call the “waaaaambulance” for the Stewart fans. Yep, that’s right. When the smoke cleared from Happy’s victory burnout, smoke was cleared from the the top 10 by 16 points. Oops! It seems what goes around, comes around. Enjoy watching the show Tony; after your tantrums this year we couldn’t think of a more fitting ending. It’s sad for your team, who have put their heart and soul into it, but for you personally, fate is teaching you a hard lesson. One you hopefully will learn from, but we’re not so sure looking at your history. Nightie Night, Flip-flop.

Now, for the BS flag of the night. Hi NASCAR, again.

Let’s see, recent dealings with “aggressive” driving have been a 1 lap penalty. This after you park Kevin Harvick on a Sunday, for actions the day before in the Truck Series. Can we have some consistency here? Nope, it seems you can’t make up your mind since you parked Jeff Green for the remainder of the race tonight at Richmond for a little bump under caution to Jimmie Johnson. Give us a break. Seriously. Oh, that’s right. Johnson was a Chase contender. Good call. NOT.

It’s ridiculous. Simply ridiculous. Now you have again set a standard. Anyone want to bet that it isn’t stayed with? I’ll take the bet that they don’t. In fact, let me call Vegas to make it official. So what’s the deal here? Johnson was locked up, so that isn’t it. Can’t say that it wasn’t completely uncalled for, he wasn’t too nice earlier on to Green. So what’s the deal? No, it isn’t the “Hendrick” conspiracy so get over it. However, it’s something. I guess we’ll see what they come up with next time someone does something similar. This doesn’t even get into what Carl Edwards did back a few weeks ago at Michigan during the Busch race. I know, let’s pull “what we’re going to do” out of a magic hat, and see what happens. Give us a break.

In the end Richmond was a nail biter for some, overly frustrating for others, and bitter-sweet for a select few.
