It’s official. Dale Jarrett, Slugger Labbe, and Robert Yates were on the list.

Today Nascar has handed down penalties to the No. 88 team for their unapproved sway bar which reports say kept the car “where they wanted it” all around the race track. Ingenious, yes. Circumventing the rules to counter-act the shock rules put in place last fall, you bet. Which, is why Nascar imposed the penalties. That, and as other teams have been suspected of similar “improvements”, Nascar is sending a message.
Nascar fined Slugger Labbe $25,000, and suspended him for 4 weeks. Pretty much in line with recent penalties.
Dale Jarrett was docked 25 driver points, and Robert Yates was docked 25 owner points.
Expect more to surface on this event in the near future.
