Todd Parrot To Lead Yates (Again)

[thumb:381:l:s=1:l=x]Robert Yates is pulling his strings and calling in favors again. At least, that’s the perception from this one. However he pulled it off, it’s incredible. Robert Yates has convinced Todd Parrot to come back to Robert Yates Racing (he left after last season for Petty Enterprises), and convinced Petty to let him return. Wow. Who’d have thought it, huh?
In what Todd Parrot says is a special opportunity, the role this opportunity brings forth isn’t known. At least nobody is talking. It must be a big role, as Parrot was very happy at Petty. Being in a similar situation a year ago, Robbie Loomis completely understands. Robbie, Bobby Labonte, and the team are wishing Todd their best.
We have great people over here, but I helped build Yates, and I want to help build it again.
That’s understandable, and one big task in front of him.
Greg Steadman will be taking over the crew chief duties for Labonte, working very closely with Robbie Loomis. Greg’s stint will be in the interim, according to the Petty Enterprises press release.
