[thumb:166:l:s=1:l=x]Kevin Harvick’s Busch car failed pre-race inspection earlier today, and as a result his qualifying time was disallowed. His crew chief, Shane Wilson, was kicked out of the garage as well. Reportedly, Kevin’s car had “unapproved aerodynamic modifications”.
Expect the swift justice of Nascar to also be severe. Mr. Wilson was already on probation for an infraction at Talladega back in April.
Harvick started at the rear of the field this evening, trying to increase his 344 point lead over 2nd place Denny Hamlin.
